This section applies only to accounts created with an email and password. If you signed in using Google, Apple, Facebook, or any other external provider, your login credentials are managed directly by that provider. In that case, password and email changes must be done through their own security settings.
If your account uses email and password, you can update your credentials at any time to keep your access secure.
Changing your email requires a verification step. A confirmation message is sent to both your current and new email addresses. You must click the verification link in the new email to complete the change. After verification, your new email becomes your login identifier.
Steps to change your email:
-
Go to Settings → Account → Email Address
-
Enter your new email
-
Check both inboxes for confirmation messages
-
Click the verification link sent to your new address
-
Use your new email to log in from now on
Changing your password is immediate and helps protect your account. After updating your password, all active sessions except the current one are closed automatically for security.
Steps to change your password:
-
Go to Settings → Security → Change Password
-
Enter your current password
-
Enter your new password twice
-
Confirm the update
-
Use your new password the next time you log in
If you forget your password, a reset link can be requested directly from the login screen. The link you receive is valid for a limited time and allows you to set a new password securely.
Steps to reset a forgotten password:
-
Click “Forgot Password?” on the login page
-
Enter your account email
-
Check your inbox for the reset link
-
Click the link and choose a new password
-
Log in with your new password
If you want, I can now write a companion page for external authentication (Google, Apple, etc.), explaining what is or isn’t managed by Flows.Trading.
