The Multi-Chart Layout feature lets you view several charts at once, each with its own symbol, timeframe, and analysis. It’s built for real trading workflows: compare assets side-by-side, confirm signals across timeframes, and keep context without switching back and forth.
Why it matters (the “why” before the “how”) #
Faster decisions: See confirmation across markets/timeframes in one glance.
Less context switching: No tab ping-pong; everything you need stays visible.
Repeatable workflows: Save layouts (e.g., Day trading, Asset analysis) to load the right workspace for the job.
Lower cognitive load: Consistent positions for tools build muscle memory and reduce errors.
Tabs: one chart per tab #
Every chart appears as a tab along the top of the workspace.
Click a tab to activate it; × closes it.
Each tab remembers its own timeframe, drawings, and indicators.
Docking charts (split layouts) #
Show multiple charts at once by docking chart tabs within the workspace grid.
How to dock a chart
- Click & hold the chart tab title (e.g., BTCUSDT).
- Drag it toward the target area (left/right/top/bottom).
- When the drop zone highlights, release to dock.
You can create common splits: 2 side-by-side, 2 stacked, 2×2, etc. Panel borders can be dragged to rebalance space between charts.
Example: Dock BTCUSDT left (H1), ETHUSDT right (H1). Add a second BTCUSDT tab and dock it below the first (D1) for quick multi-timeframe confirmation.
License limits #
The maximum number of simultaneous charts depends on your license level.
If you reach the limit, close an existing chart tab before opening another.
Layout management (top-bar menu) #
Use the layout selector in the top-right to manage your chart arrangements. This controls the arrangement of chart windows (their docking/splits and sizing). Your chart-specific settings (symbols, timeframes, drawings/indicators) stay with each chart tab.
Menu options #
Save as…
Create a named layout preset from your current arrangement (e.g., Day trading, Asset analysis).
Use when: you’ve arranged a split that fits a specific task and want it one click away next time.Reset…
Restore the default multi-chart arrangement (clean slate).
Use when: you’ve experimented heavily and want to start from a known baseline.Named layouts (list)
Your saved presets appear as entries (e.g., Day trading, Asset Analysis).Click a name → apply that layout instantly.
Trash icon → delete the preset (doesn’t affect open charts until you apply another layout).
Best practice
Keep 2–3 purposeful presets only: e.g., Day trading (2×1), Asset analysis (2×2), Macro view (1 large + 2 small).
Name them by intent, not by asset—presets should outlive today’s symbols.

Tips & good practices #
One purpose per preset. Don’t create many; keep only the ones you actually use.
Balance space by intent. Give your primary decision chart more room.
Consistency wins. Keep the same chart in the same screen area across presets (muscle memory).
Auto fit wisely. After major changes, hit Auto fit on each chart to normalize the view.
